‘Des pratiques pour améliorer le confort et le bien-être des vaches’ (given 3x the same day) developed and presented in coll. with my graduate students J St John*, V Boyer*, E Shepley* and extension specialist S Adam from Valacta., offered to decision makers and research scientists from the Quebec dairy industry (processors and producers), at Forum Techno 2018 de Novalait, Drummondville QC Canada, May 16, 2018. (~500 attendees, full day)

 

‘Benchmarking dairy cattle comfort & New practices for better calf care’ (given 3x the same day) developed and presented in coll. with D Haley (U of Guelph) and M Villetaz-Robichaud and D Pellerin (U Laval), offered to decision makers from the dairy industry (DFC reps), at Dairy Farmers of Canada Dairy Research Symposium 2018, Ottawa ON Canada, February 9 2018. (~500 industry representatives, full day)

 

‘How to make sure cows age well’ followed by a discussion on Motivation of cows to exercise based on peer-review paper by Veissier et al. (2015) for the University of British Columbia’s Animal Welfare Program, September 27, 2017, Vancouver BC Canada. (~20 graduate students and Faculty members, 2 h)

Vasseur and research team* organized a workshop on my IRC’s research activities and hands-on training on the measure of dairy cattle welfare, for graduate students member of Op+lait (a group of researchers on milk quality through FRQNT strategic grouping program), that my team hosted at McGill’s Macdonald Campus Farm on April 24, 2017. (~40 graduate students, half day)

 

‘La boiterie chez la vache laitière: de l’identification à la recommendation!’ developed and presented in coll. with extension specialist S. Adam from Valacta, offered to veterinarian practitioners, Faculté de Médecine Vétérinaire, Univesité de Montréal, Feb 10, 2017, St-Hyacinte, QC. (~40 veterinarian practitioners, half day)
