​I completed my B.Sc. at the University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada) in the Zoology Honors program. During this time, I gained valuable skills and knowledge applicable to environmental and animal scientific research. In my fourth year of undergrad, I worked as a research assistant for poultry behavior and welfare, where I assisted MSc. And PhD students on their projects involving pullets, broilers and layers. As a member of this lab, I cultivated my interests in the livestock industry, specifically in the domain of welfare and sustainability. As of September 2023, I started my MSc. In Animal science at McGill University (Quebec, Canada), with aspirations to research dairy cow welfare and contribute to the goals of better understanding and improving the livelihood of industry animals.
