I am currently completing my B.Sc. in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at McGill University, with a specialization in Animal Production and Professional Agrology. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have had the opportunity to do internships in the agricultural sector.

During the summer of 2021, I worked full-time on a free-stall dairy farm located in the Eastern Townships where the cows were robotically milked. Working on this welfare-focused farm sparked my interest in animal welfare and animal comfort. During the same summer, I was lucky enough to spend two weeks with Dr. Jean-Philippe Lequin (DVM) during which I tagged along with him during his rounds of preventive medicine.

Last summer, I was employed as a research intern in agronomy by Les Producteurs de bovins du Québec and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. I worked along with other researchers on a research project on the development of a grading system for grain-fed veal carcasses.

This winter semester, I have the privilege of joining this lab to work on a research project. I am very much looking forward to this academic experience.
